You & Me

You & Me is inspired by the challenge to relate to honest humans with different values. Triggered by an over enthusiastic evangelist.  His energetic pitch was irritating inspite his sincerity.   

I AM

I AM is my first poem. Also my best. Written at a friends place when he threw the note pad at me and said “Write!” I wrote. There was no looking back.

Voices

During a period of internal eclipse I heard Voices. Voices of all kinds. Voices of various people. There was only one way to dispel the darkness. Find my voice.

 

One morning

One morning it was calm after days of angst. One morning is inspired by the colourful juices of life.  

 

Living in the shadow of no one

Living in the shadow of no one is an angry expression.  Anger at having suppressed expression for so many years. Anger at myself for allowing it to happen. Anger at others for their need to influence. Anger at God for the long path to redemption. Each sentence was shouted into the Dictaphone!

Can I

Burst out while driving across Bombay city. Recorded on my dictaphone. Dont know where it came from, but listening to my own voice later realised the depth and melancholy of Can I. The longing of a human soul. 

Yin n Yan

Inspired one morning while heating water to drink. The hanging pot in the front led to the pan and the pan led to the man. Yin n Yan is about the female energy in man that makes him sensitive and tender. A rare man.

Sex

If there is one topic most read, heard, written and talked about in the history of humanity; it is sex. Sex came to me one morning and kept coming and coming and coming. Its my magnum opus!  

Where does my wisdom lie

Where does my wisdom lie originated in Rishikesh, situated on the foothills of the Himalayas. As I approached the icy cold water of the Ganges the question arose in me. Arising from a decade of seeking answers outside of me. I had no answer.
